Danish Bahá’í Summer School 2026

We look forward to, once again, welcoming many participants to the Bahá’í Community Summer School.

Time: Tuesday, July 21st  until Sunday, July 26th at 14.00
Place: Kerteminde Efterskole, Degnehøj vej 20, 5300 Kerteminde

This year’s theme: “Participating in Public Discourse”

This year’s guest speaker is Selvi Adaikkalam Zabihi, who currently serves on the discourse team at the US Baha’i Office of Public Affairs and with the Association for Baha’i Studies-North America on the Committee for Collaborative Initiatives. She lived in Denmark from 1993-2002 where she studied international development studies at Roskilde University. She also served at the Office of Social and Economic Development at the Baha’i World Center for four years, and taught and researched in higher education before starting her current work.

The program will be given in Danish, with the possibility of translation into English.

Children and junior youth
We are in the process of preparing programs for children and juniors, but can say already that there will be singing and music, Ruhi studies, bonfire evenings, fun in the area “Hullet” and much more.

Sports and Fun for all!
At the school, there will also be plenty of opportunities to meet new people, do sports and gain experience. Use of the gym, green areas and fitness room is included in the price. The beach is 3 km away (5 minutes by car).

Registration and accommodation
The school committee expects to start registrations this April, but mark your calendars now and remember that if you want a more comfortable stay (without a shared bathroom, many stairs and slightly softer mattresses), NOW is the time to look for other accommodation options.
